Questions for January's Book Club Contest: "Designing Climate Solutions: A Policy Guide for Low-Carbon Energy"

For the January 2019 Book Club selection, TransportiCA has chosen Designing Climate Solutions: A Policy Guide for Low-Carbon Energy (Island Press), by Hal Harvey, Robbie Orvis, and Jeffrey Rissman.

Published in November, Designing Climate Solutions, provides the latest policies and research for reducing the nation’s carbon impact, in a manageable, yet thorough publication, for many types of readers - policy makers, students, professionals, and others.

With every month's selection, TransportiCA provides three questions, and if you send us all three correct responses by the end of the month, and your name is drawn, you will win a copy of the book.

The contest questions for Designing Climate Solutions are:
1) Harvey founded what international foundations?
2) Orvis is also a contributor to what plan, a project of the Power Sector Transformation program?
3) Rissman led development of what computer model, quantifying cost and emissions impacts of various policy combinations?

Thank you for your interest in the Book Club, and best of luck with the contest!

No purchase is necessary, as questions are not taken directly from the publication, but from respective technical information, publicity, and/or the author's professional lives.  To send in your response, submit via TransportiCA's "Contact Form" on the front-page (bottom left), sending your name, email address and answers.  The deadline for submission is 23:59, Thursday, 31 January 2019.
