TransportiCA will be reporting / tweeting live all weekend from the 15th annual San Francisco Green Festival. The festival will be held at Pier 35, returning to its epicenter. We will be covering green transportation, eco-tourism and many other exciting events and speakers. (We have a contractual obligation to cover only 'exciting' stories.)
If you are taking public transit to get there, you can receive a $5 discount off the cost of admission with your Clipper card or printed ticket/transfer shown at the door.
The festival is directly served by both the E-Embarcadero and F-Market/Wharves streetcars; the closest stop is Embarcadero and Bay Street. As well, a short distance away is the Pier 41 ferry terminal. The closest BART station is Embarcadero, with a short walk to Pier 35; nearby MUNI service includes the 8-Bayshore, 39-Coit, 47-Van Ness and numerous Golden Gate Transit lines.
For more information - including the official program, please visit the S.F. Green Festival webpage.
