Back in December, we announced the launch of the TOD Technical Assistance Initiative, a collaboration between the Federal Transit Administration and Smart Growth America to help communities across the country build equitable transit-oriented development (TOD) projects.
Today we’re excited to unveil the new online home for that project. TODresources.org is a digital hub for the nation’s leading information and ideas about outstanding TOD projects.
In addition, anyone interested in TOD can join the project’s mailing list to get news about new resources and opportunities.
All of this is designed to help elected officials, municipal staff, advocates, developers, transportation professionals, and urban planners discover new ideas, connect with one another and, ultimately, build great projects. The new website is just one part of the project’s work, which also includes on-site technical assistance and a collaborative network of TOD professionals open by invitation only.
The TOD Technical Assistance Initiative is a project of the Federal Transit Administration administered by Smart Growth America. Both organizations are working in partnership to encourage and advance successful TOD project in communities across the country. Explore TODresources.org to learn more.
