Metrolink Public Outreach Notification Re: Fare Vending Machines
PUBLIC OUTREACH NOTIFICATION
On April 22, 2016, Metrolink adopted a plan to consider replacing and enhancing the existing ticket vending machines. As part of the plan, Metrolink is studying reducing or removing the cash function in station ticketing devices and identifying other payment options for those who currently use cash. Metrolink is working to identify the impacts to the community, as well as our riders through public meetings, interviews at Metrolink stations and surveys.
All public comments prior to the public hearing, regardless of the form of communication, must be submitted and received no later than Wednesday, Sept. 7 at noon.
