Foothill Transit: New! Lines 190, 194, And 270

TransportiCA Note: We are excited to see Foothill Transit takeover operations of lines 190 and 194, and jointly-administer line 270 with Norwalk Transit.  These are all important routes, servicing the southern portion of the San Gabriel Valley, including several Metrolink and Metro Rail stations, majors centers of commerce, and higher-education institutions.  Foothill Transit was born from a Metro (SCRTD) operations takeover; successful reorganization and implementation is in their blood.  We do, however, hope Foothill considers extending either line, or even the 486, to serve the Downtown Pomona and Claremont Metrolink stations, providing direct service to CalPoly and Mt. SAC from two Metrolink lines, in addition to providing additional transit options for the Pomona Valley, as well as, further eastern connections to the growing northern Chino Valley.  Until then, Foothill Transit is still "Going Good Places."

Foothill Transit now operates Lines 190, 194, and 270 after those lines were released by L.A. Metro.

Find out what you need to know!
Foothill Transit began operation of Lines 190, 194, and the northern segment of Line 270, between Monrovia and El Monte Station, on Sunday, June 26, for Lines 190 and 194 and Monday, June 27, for Line 270.
We operate Lines 190 and 194 following the same routes and schedules that Metro created, with an additional midnight trip for Line 190. Foothill Transit Line 270 follows the same route between Monrovia and El Monte. The southern segment of Line 270 is operated as Norwalk Transit Route 7. Please note: the new Foothill Transit Lines 190, 194 and 270 only operate on a weekday/Saturday/Sunday schedule. All other lines follow our weekday/weekend schedule.
