UCLA Lewis Center: We're Hiring! Apply to be our Operations Manager

We seek a dynamic team player to work with a passionate group of professors, staff, and students dedicated to sustainable solutions for Southern California’s growth challenges.  The UCLA Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies is a community of scholars studying transportation, housing, jobs, and the environmental challenges facing metropolitan areas.  We work within the Luskin School of Public Affairs to support policy and planning students, across UCLA to coordinate research that produces real results for the Los Angeles region, and around the nation to communicate research results through the media.

The Operations Coordinator is the central facilitator and organizer of the day to day operations of the Lewis Center.  S/he works closely with faculty and staff in the Luskin School of Public Affairs, assists the Associate Directors in keeping the Center on budget and helping to plan and execute our major events, manages student assistants, and runs student fellowship and grant programs.  Someone who uses a work planning/time management approach (e.g. Franklin Covey or Getting Things Done) should excel in this position. The salary range is $55,000 to $64,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
